This was very difficult. I had some 4.5 heart books I really wanted to include. Particularly, I wanted to add many of the Dresden files series I’ve been listening to on audio. Some other authors who were very high on my list include Penny Reid, Jill Shalvis, and J.T. Geissinger.

I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

Thanks Lexxie! I read your list also, on my phone while I was lollygagging in bed this morning. I saw some interesting options – there is always so much I want to add to my TBR. My daughter isn’t even up yet. I’m making what we call struedel. It’s like cinnamon rolls with yeast dough except I shape it differently and it has apples and raisins and pecans. Merry Christmas! I always want to read everything you have; I think it’s because you write such fantastic reviews. Secrets was such an awesome book. When you’ve been with the world and characters so long, it’s comforting in the extreme to be there. I’m looking forward to my Ilona Andrews Readalong starting so I can start reading them all over again. I’m going to try to listen to some of them. I hope you’ll join me. You and Jennifer have some more romance options while I tend to have more fantasy or sci-fi, but I love the diversity. You and I both like the mystery / action / thriller though.

Thanks Angela! Even though it wasn’t required I stuck to things which were released in 2017. However, I opted to do Audiobooks for the blogger’s choice on Wednesday and the Dresden Files are there!
I tried to stick with 2017 release too even though I did a lot of re-reads this year. For Wednesday I went with New To Me. I had a bunch of new authors, series, or genres. I tried in 2017. I can’t wait to see your Audio picks. I just started in Sept getting into Audiobooks. Total loving them. ^_^
