So many great covers. This year seemed full of them. A lot of people had Burn Bright on their list. I hope you had a lovely Christmas:)
Thank you! I like the ones with outdoor things like leaves, flowers and trees. But since I do things digital I don’t see many covers. I’m lucky enough to have met the cover artist for Patricia Briggs (and Diana Rowland) at DragonCon. I have a large print of one of the Mercy Thompson covers but Burn Bright is a real favorite.
I hope your holiday was wonderful!
Witchmark’s cover is really cool. That is one of those I might buy just because of the cover.
There are so many eye catching covers out there. I’ve noticed that I’m really drawn to ones with purple but I’m guilty of buying a few books on covers alone in the last year.
I was intrigued by Witchmark’s cover and ended up reviewing the book. It’s unusual but I really liked it.
I absolutely love the Witchmark cover! Gorgeous colour and intriguing image
Lovely choices, Anne! I can see why you chose each of them. I hope you had a beautiful holiday.
Thank you ! My team suggested some of them since I am graphics challenged but I like them all.
These are great! I am not even sure which one might be my favorite. I do love the artwork on the Briggs covers.
I’m not much of a cover person but all of these are lovely.
One thing I’ve noticed is how the covers look different on the computer. I’m always thrilled at how much more they grab you in physical copies. And often they have little extra’s like texture and such that make them even more special. I also love it when you take off the book sleeve and find something special on the actual book.
Yes they really pop in physical form.
I especially love The Girl in the Tower and Spinning Silver!
The Russian fairy tales! They are beautiful. I like outdoors scenes or things with leaves and trees so Burn Bright and Witchmark fit into those styles.
yay some great ones I agree with you!
Different styles, different colors but all art which speak to me.
I love the cover for How to Break an Undead Heart! I haven’t read that series but will have to give it a try.
Me too! I love the colors and of course, the motorcycle.
I would have to say my favorite covers are the Gideon’s Rider series by Kit Rocha and Dread Nation by Justina Ireland are my favorites.

Interesting choices. You could do the lists with us too! I’m going to do it next year as a meme or something for everyone. Have a graphics done and invite others to link up their list posts. I’m still figuring it out but I want to do it.
I’ve done it before on Hot Listens. It was just more than I could handle this year. I’m visiting blogs for the first time in two weeks, which I really missed.

Well there are plenty of years ahead! You have to take care of yourself and do what works for you. We all do. I have been doing lots of commenting but once my daughter is back at school, plus the usual stuff I’m going to have more trouble.
They are all classy, well crafted covers, Anne – great choices. My favourites are How To Break an Undead Heart – love the title, too! And Witchmark – that beautiful clear blue just sings…
Yes I love them.
