2018 New Release Challenge
I look forward to all the new releases and participate in the challenge since I knew I would be reading them anyway. I’ve met my goal of 80 and exceeded it easily by reading 160 new releases this year, unless I read anything today.

I’m not surprised by this one. You’re so on top of new releases. Congratulations, Anne!
Thank you! Audios have made it so much better. But I even get them at the library too. There’s nothing like a New Release Audiobook from the Library which rocks all my challenges.
Oh my gosh, Anne! You did SO well this year, way to go 🙂
Thank you. I’m going to finish updating all my links for December while listening to a New Release audiobook which should add one more. I’m already 52% into it. So 161. Audiobooks have really helped me do more this year. Thanks for hosting this challenge which helps me focus and plan my reading.
I felt the same way about enjoying several new releases. Next year has several I really want to read, too.
I have a whole list in a spreadsheet and on my Google calendar for the blog. I watch for them avidly and request them. I have to consider carefully if I can or should get the audio or the ebook ARC. I am requesting a few too many audio at times since they tend to be a bit slower to read. But there are some publishers where I can only get the audio version. The audios come from so many publishers it has made them harder to control until I created a system for myself. eARCS are almost all from Netgalley.
Wow! You sure did exceed your goal. Congratulations, Anne.
I figured I would read 2 books a week plus 1 audiobook but it turned out to be more like 2 of each and more during time off. I tend to listen when I’m doing any kind of crafts, although I haven’t really done much until the last month or so (crafts I mean). Thank you!
WOW way to go!!
Thank you!
Wow 160 new releases? You did great with this goal! I also participated in this challenge and read a lot of new releases. It’s always a fun challenge and I always read quite a few new releases anyway so it’s easy enough to find books that count.
yes I do pretty well with new ARCs and did lots more audio ARCs this past year.
