I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places,live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

I have to get back to Benjamin Jackas’ series. I read the first 2 or 3 books years ago, but it got lost among the many other series I read. I see it on best lists every where. At this point, I’d have to go back to book 1.
Hmmm, just found out we’re working remotely until Jan. 18, may have to see if the library has them on audio.
My library has them on audio and the narrator is terrific! I hope you get to them. Many 5 heart reads there.
Oh I forgot about Rocky, but what a FANTASTIC character, I completely agree! And Anna Latham has been a favorite for years as well. I need to read a lot of the other books!

I think it’s fun! That’s why I do it. Avery is a trip. I like how strong she is and how smart.
Rocky from Project Hail Mary and Eve/Jacob were favorites of mine as well.

Only one that I have read from the lists is Win from Win. He is just such an interesting character isn’t he? He would have been on my list had I done one.
I’ve loved all the scenes of Win so I’m thrilled he is getting his own series.

And Jacob! He had such adorable idiosyncrasies.
Cletus and Jenn are always favorites. I do need to read the new Stiefvater series. I used to devour her books as soon as I could get my hands on them, but haven’t in a while. But I did like Ronan in the Raven Cycle series. Great lists! Since I don’t do just characters, I do my book boyfriends, that is the post I linked to below!
