This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
I’m doing something different this year. I’m going to highlight series by favorite authors. I chose the authors based on being some of my favorite authors and having multiple series. Some authors I love only have one series or one series with a bunch of spin-offs.
Allison Brennan does mostly romantic suspense, mysteries and police procedurals. She’s really become a favorite.

I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

I think you’re well aware of my love of Brennan’s writing. I’m either up to date in or have completed all of her series except Moreno & Hart.
I wish I could read more sooner but I’ll get there. I’ve read the first in the Moreno & Hart series. I bought them in some deal.
I haven’t read any of these but maybe one day.
She’s definitely a favorite author and writes great plots, characters and worlds.
I’m really hoping to read something by this author this year. All her books look so interesting and like my kind of mysteries!
I love her work but these are NOT cozy mysteries. You could pick any of her series as they are all very good, or one of the standalones. I guess I wouldn’t start with one of her series that has 20 books though.
I love Allison Brennan, too! Max Revere is one of may favorites from her, but I’ve read a lot of her other ones and enjoyed them, too. I’d like more Reagan Merritt stories.
I haven’t gotten to Max Revere yet. I want to do Lucy Kincaid first. But I’ve enjoyed everything I have read.

If you enjoy mysteries / thrillers, romantic suspense, you should give her a try. She has both stand alones and series.
