After a difficult few years, Tilly Adams is ready for life to start going right. Though she has a case of first day nerves teaching art at the local community college, she knows it isn't anything a few snuggles from her rescue puppy won't cure. Until she sees Dylan Scott again, her one-time BFF and first love sitting in the front row.

Dylan knows he should've left well enough alone, but when he sees Tilly living her dream, he can't help but make contact. Ten years ago, he left Wildstone and everything in it behind, including Tilly. He had his reasons, but now he wants her back in his life, anyway he can get her.

When Tilly agrees to design the logo for Dylan's new helicopter touring company, it's business only...until she finds herself falling into his arms once again. Can she possibly open her heart back up to the only man who's ever broken it? But soon they're both realizing the truth - love always deserves a second chance.

I listened to Lost and Found Sisters last year which is the first book in this Wildstone series. It was a 5 hearts listen for me.  It ended up in my Top 10 Audiobooks of 2017.  Many of those feelings were also in this novella set 10 years later. This continues the story of the younger sister, Tilly.

Jill Shalvis has given us her usual amazing story.  I was so happy to get more of the story and even a bit of Quinn and Mick.  Again,  Tilly’s journal entries were awesome.  I did enjoy how authentic Dylan and Tilly were; they didn’t play games.  Leo was another character which is a strength in this author’s writing, as is her sense of humor.  I loved it all and look forward to Rainy Day Friends, which is planned for  June 19.

Narration:

Karen White did the narration on the previous one and was outstanding. Her performance made this one more fun, too. Both Tilly and Dylan sounded just right to me.  I listened at 1.25 speed comfortably.

Love seeing that the follow-up book kept up the good vibe you got from the first book. I still need to read book one. It’s been setting on the Kindle forever. 😉

Have a great Memorial Day weekend, Anne! Are you getting out on the bike?

    • It’s great also I wish it were a little bit longer. As for the Harley, I hope so. The past 2 years I’ve done trips over Memorial Day and planned to this year. But my daughter needs my support with her new health regimen. In 2016, I rode 60 miles a day to TX to see my SOA peeps, indluding Charlie Hunnam. Last year, I rode to DC and participated in Rolling Thunder. Both my Harley trips this year have been dropped for problems. I have one more in mind. I hope to get out and about over the next week but it looks to be rather rainy. I am fine with rain on a long trip but for a day trip I don’t want to mess with all the gear so I just try to go on a non-rainy day.
