Each book in the series seems to be more fun. Of course, I get to know the world and the brothers more. There are four brothers raised with military and wilderness experience. we have already had books for Brock and Christian. Now Burn of Summer is Ace. Ace hasn’t gotten a job since leaving the […]
I was eager to see what would happen in the Laurel Snow series after the many events in You Can Kill. I would not start in the middle of the series; I would read these in order for both the personal relationships and the mystery plots. We start with Laurel and Huck briefly on vacation […]
Thaw of Spring was more enjoyable for me than the previous book, or at least slightly more believable. The next brother for us to know is Christian. There are four brothers with military and wilderness experience. Their father died about a year ago but no one has been arrested. It was clear he was interested […]
I enjoy this author, although some of the stories don’t seem very realistic. The setup for Dead of Winter is promising. There are four brothers with military and wilderness experience. Their father died about a year ago but no one has been arrested. Since Olivia’s FBI boss was an old friend of the father, Hank, […]
I was happy to continue the Laurel Snow series. I like Laurel and Huck. Abigail and Zeke are wacky characters, a bit cliche in their evil as malignant narcissists. We learn more about Laurel and Huck personally. It was especially great to get more of Huck’s history. The murders and the capabilities of Jason Abbott […]
The Deep Ops series is romantic suspense with a new couple in each story. The characters and situation are rather over the top, not quite realistic or believable. Although the humor is a bit ridiculous with quirky characters, the violence is gritty. There’s a dog and a cat on the team. Frostbitten highlights Millicent Frost […]
The Laurel Snow series has the FBI cases in the individual books and the overall story ARC of Laurel’s personal life. She is back seeing her mother, and developing a relationship with Huck, as well as friends like Kate. The series is best read in order because of the career and personal developments. Laurel is […]
I was happy to continue the Laurel Snow series. The series is best read in order because of the career and personal developments. I like Laurel and she works so hard. The romance isn’t settled but she and Huck are definitely interested in each other. Sadly, her half sister Abigail is doing everything she can […]

I enjoy a good romantic suspense with some police procedural and romantic elements. You Can Run has all those and sets up the world for the Laurel Snow series. Laurel is an experienced FBI agent who consults primarily on serial killer cases. She comes back to her hometown where her mother lives, as her mother […]
