I’ve owned this Junkyard Cats series on audio for awhile and I am well into it now. I would read this series in order for the political developments. Shining finally has what she wants after joining with the other motorcycle clubs to fight Clarice Warhammer. They have agreed she is now her own “made man” […]
I’ve owned this Junkyard Cats series on audio for awhile and it’s another one which I want to read and need to get started! These are a bit shorter stories so my reviews will be briefer to be non-spoilery, yet give the sense of them. The main character is Shining Smith who has been alone […]
I might be late to the party, but I feel like I’ve discovered an entirely new genre of fiction to explore and obsess over after reading Matt Dinniman’s LitRPG masterpiece, Dungeon Crawler Carl. The first in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, we are introduced to Carl as he and other earth-natives are forced to compete […]
I bought the box set of Flashpoint series by Rachel Grant. Since then, I have gotten the first 2 books in the series for free. These are in the romantic suspense genre. I enjoy the African settings, some military and political or historical parts. I reviewed the first book Tinderbox in July 2023. […]

I bought this years ago and finally I am reading The Martian. I didn’t really know the plot but it’s simple enough, Mark gets left behind on Mars when there is a storm. He figures out how to live with having enough supplies until the next mission there. As an engineer and the fixit guy […]
Each year, I read or listen to at least one of Jane Austen‘s novels, novellas, or letters. It had been some time since I picked up Emma so I was pleased to catch the Audible Original Dramatized version narrated by Emma Thompson among other voices for this latest stint. This was a large cast of […]
I’ve owned this Lock In series for years. I thought it was technology and scifi but didn’t understand until I started reading that it was also a mystery with the main character Chris being a new FBI agent. Chris is fortunate in many ways, starting with his family’s wealth and care, and in […]
I’m taking another shift with my Series on Saturday meme. This year, 2026, I’m going to read short series, or finish short series. The Dispatcher series is one I started with a freebie from Audible. The next two books are in Audible Plus, which I am not sure I have ever used so I’m going […]
I needed to figure out a way to start reading series where I am not current or the series is finished but haven’t read them yet. So it’s a way to commit myself to read my backlist, particularly series. I’m working on reading Kelley Armstrong‘s backlist and I’ve always wanted to read the […]
