I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places,live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

Seeing these lists of series makes me want to read more series in general. I do notice I tend to read standalones more often than not, but maybe next year I’ll change things up😁
Sometimes a standalone is exactly all I’m looking for, but a good series is like visiting your friends and family again and again.

I realized that some of my 5 heart reads for the year were old friends in series that have at least 10 books and this let me get in 30! favorite reads.
I like the idea of a top series post! I don’t do like you guys tend to do though, and read series full in a year since so often I’m in the middle of the series as it comes out and have to wait in between books. But your way of saying series that are still getting 5 stars is a neat way to do that as well. Great picks!
I thought it was a great choice for me this year. 8 of 10 are series that I was up to date and just read the current release this year though, so they weren’t binges or anything.
I definitely give 5-stars to Patricia Briggs still! I would also add Murderbot (since a new one is coming next year!), Kat Holloway, Veronica Speedwell, and Lady Sherlock.
I’d agree with your other series except some don’t have 10 titles yet. And I haven’t read Veronica Speedwell yet.

Naida, you can still read them. It’s easy to fall behind on series sometimes though.
Fantastic series ladies. I enjoyed some new ones like Red City, but Bishop, Briggs, Wells,, Benedict and more still rock the five-star vibe for me.
With great world-building and character development, it’s easy to love series that are old friends.
I like how you all picked a different topic for this one. Those are some long running series you read Anne, I do love it when series keep going strong like that. And I love well done world building/ magic systems, so will have to look some of those up. Like Sophia, I really like the Guild Codex series.

I totally agree with Robert Dugoni’s series, I’ve read them all and wait for each to be released. JD Robb series-I’ve read 37 of them and stopped. It’s still a favorite series though and I keep saying I’m going to go back to it. I’m so behind. And the Guild Codex series I read all of them this year I think? Really liked them. Great lists!
