The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week, and showcase books and things we have received.

Sunday, I lost the breakfast war today. Lulu ate her food AND all of Marley’s food. I sent the new code for FS Poster for Ashley to load. I only update to the new version like 1-2 times per year rather than every little update. I did my blog visiting and some laundry and started getting stuff organized for dinner. I had to really hunt to find my Peach Crisp recipe. We are having the neighbor over for Chicken Pot Pie and then we will play some games. It’s raining hard periodically today. In between deluges, my daughter walked Lulu. I fed Marley while she was gone. My daughter also vacuumed on the main floor. Yesterday, she organized her shoe storage. She’s really pitching in these days. We had a really nice dinner and playing board games. Marley was excited to go home.
Monday, I relaxed and read for awhile this morning. I tried on some of the dresses we picked out last week and some fit me pretty well. I made a BLT with fresh garden tomatoes. Now I’m doing some computer stuff. I got my review written for tomorrow. I am just not feeling energized.
Tuesday, another slow day. I realized that my doctor changed my blood pressure medication at the end of last week and adjusting to that may be affecting me also. At least I’m not behind on my reading. My daughter went to bingo with the neighbor and they both won. Neighbors have been texting me to ask if I’m ok.
Wednesday, it’s a slow process to heal and I feel sleepy more than usual. The cuts and bruises are superficial but they hurt if I move too suddenly. I am doing lots of reading and relaxing. Ashley uploaded the new version of FS Poster. Everything seems to be working.
Thursday, FS Poster still seems to be working but now Jetpack is getting an error. I had another day where I mostly read and relaxed. It’s really hot. My daughter has been walking Lulu.
Friday, I got a message from Ashley about Jetpack but also she had some kind of host problem so it was down some this morning and she rolled to the backup from yesterday after figuring out the issue. So I had to redo edits to today’s post and also re-add the ARCs I setup yesterday. Then we headed off to my daughter’s PT appt. Afterwards we went to Wegmans, the post office and Trader Joes.
Saturday, I got going early since the cleaners were coming to do my daughter’s bathrooms. I was setting up new ARCs and editing / scheduling posts. Then I wrote 3 reviews for books I have read. I went through a bunch of emails and either filed them or deleted after reading. I sent a message to my doctor with the new blood pressure graphs because now my blood pressure has been high all week. So she sent RX for a reduced dosage which we will go pick up.
The upcoming week will be even hotter than this week so I don’t want to do anything. But I have a mammogram, my next step of the dental implant and my daughter has a dental surgery. I’m not looking forward to next week.

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Reading Reality. These are the exciting ARCs I received this week (If you click on the cover, it will take you to the Goodreads entry):
All my thanks to Macmillan Audio (2), Minotaur Books (2), Brilliance Audio .

None yet but I am perusing the sitewide sale at Audible and adding things to my cart.

Now the really scary one. This is all the Kindle and Audible freebies I grabbed this past week. You can see why I need to do Thrifty Thursday to be sure I read a few at least one each month.

Chirp Friday freebies:

I really meant to cut back on freebies BUT they are free so I guess that won’t be happening.

I’m not including things like reviews posted or upcoming as they are always in the right sidebar. And, my challenge status is also there.

LOL, I always end up grabbing at least one audiobook from Chirp on Fridays.
There have been some good ones. As with Kindle freebies, I like the fist in series ones by authors or series I want to try.
Good luck this week, Anne. Sounds like you have some challenges but hopefully everything goes well. We have high temps too but no rain. I have been having issues with the Jetpack phone app, having to constantly log out and log back in so I can see my posts. So weird!
Thank you Tammy. I’m trying to stay calm and prepared. It’s going to be too hot though and no rain until later in the week I think. Thankfully, the issue was resolved early on Friday and we rolled back to Thursday and everything has been fine since.
Sweet Lulu💜
Sorry you’ve been under the weather. I’d notice your site unavailability Friday morning but it worked later on.
Stay cool in this weather and take care of yourself, Anne.
Thank you Jonetta. I dread the heat this week and the appts which mean I will need to go out and about. yes there was an issue, a possible hack but it was resolved quickly but the host had to roll back to Thursday.
I hope you feel better soon, it’s good you have your daughter to help out. Aw little Lulu! Hope you have a relaxing week ahead and the visits go smoothly.
Thank you so much Naida. We couldn’t do it without Lulu to comfort us.
I have been having really good blood pressure, and so have thought about asking my doctor to switch my medication, but I’m also worried it is good because of the medication and that I’d have the same kind of issues you’re having if I do. Hopefully you’re healing up quickly from the fall. That’s not fun at all. I’m sure it is nice to have just Lulu for a while too. I also had a bunch of things I’d gotten set up on the days they had to reset the blogs so I was a little frustrated that the one day I had time to blog it was all wasted. Oh well, I’m grateful they are able to figure those things out for us with the hosting. Hope this is a better week!
Thanks Lisa. I thought I had done more than I did so that was good. At least it was figured out quickly.. I did a whole lot yesterday. The doctor changed it up again yesterday and I’m already feeling better. Blood pressure still up a bit but headed in the right direction. I had this same sort of discussion with my doc 15 years ago after I lost 60 pounds.. 110/70 was too low and 120/80 was too high. I said well then it’s going to be too low. I’ve been on the same meds for about 25 years. So now it is just a lower dose of one of them which might work.
Thankfully I didn’t lose much but some images I had uploaded after Ashley had to use the back up from the 4th. I’m glad she got it sorted! I hope you get to feeling better from your fall. Its going to be hot and humid here this week and I am not looking forward to it.
Thank you Samantha. I am not looking forward to the heat either. I wish I didn’t have any appts out and could just stay home all week. I’m still having a bit of trouble with my shoulder, palms and bruises but it continues to improve.
Urg! Next week doesn’t sound like much fun. Mammograms are never fun and neither is the other stuff, especially as you must still be feeling sore after your fall:(. I hope it goes better than you fear and that all your reads next week are fabulous.x
Thank you Sarah. I hope you are right. I would like to just stay home all week in the AC and read, but I did that a lot last week.
I hope your week goes well and that your reading is top notch!
Thank you. I’m apprehensive about things this week so we will see. But the reading all looks great.
I love when dresses fit me well! And yes Jetpack problems can be so annoying!
I have been hearing GREAT things about victorious, I am so excited to read it. Hope you are healing well and the heat dies down some. I’m super unmotivated to anything when it’s so hot out.
I’m very excited for Victorious! Hope you have a good week.
I hope you are feeling better. I’m always finding something on Chirp’s freebie Friday to get. I can’t resist. Hope you have a great week!
I hope you continue to feel better. I hate the heat and it’s so hot here right now. I don’t want to go outside at all.
