This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
The topic here, by my definition, is a series with characters who are Gargoyles. These are the ones which came to mind. I enjoyed some more than others. They seem to fall mostly into the paranormal romance or urban fantasy genres.
Since I haven’t read everything, it’s a subset of the possibilities. I’m sure I am forgetting some great authors. There are also plenty of authors I have yet to read. Please share your favorites with me in the comments, also.
My favorite Gargoyle series are (in no particular order):

Kim Harrison, author of the New York Times #1 best selling Hollows series, was born in Detroit and lived most her her life within an easy drive. She’s currently working on the Peri Reed Chronicles, and when not at her desk, Kim is most likely to be found landscaping her new/old Victorian home, in the garden, or out on the links.
I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places, live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters. The other thing I enjoy is humor.
Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout is a good gargoyle series too. It’s a YA series. Thanks for sharing all these recommendations… that I’ve totally added to my TBR list!
Thanks Elizabeth. I’m not sure how I didn’t know that other than I don’t read too much YA. I have the freebies reviews posting for Thrifty Thursday so you can see reviews for some of these and some I didn’t choose.
The Hollows is the only one I can think of that I’ve read.
Some of the others are quite good.
Hmmm Kim Harrison. I haven’t read anything from her in a long time. Maybe I’ll hop over to the library and see what’s available.
The gargoyles don’t come into the series until later, in the new continued part of the series.

I totally forgot about the Devon Monk series. I think I read a couple of the books…
I loved some of Devon Monk’s series. The main character Allie has a pet gargoyle.
I believe I read book 1 of the Gargoyle Guardian Chronicles and liked it. I’ll need to double check.
Rebecca Chastain also wrote a druid series and I really liked that also.
