The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly  @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week, and showcase books and things we have received.

Don’t forget to look at my giveaways on the right sidebar.

Sunday,  it’s a nice day.  I’m trying to get everything done with visiting blogs, reading, working on posts and around the house.  I took Lulu for a walk on the medium route but still being a bit careful with my foot.  My daughter continues to feel badly and slept until nearly dinner.

Monday,  I worked on reviews and posts.  I notified the winner from the Besieged giveaway. We took Lulu to the vet for vaccine updates, then picked up a couple items at Aldi which is almost next door.

Tuesday,  I slept more rather than getting in more reading last night.  I walked Kayla, then Abby and Lulu.  Coming back, Marley was in our yard for a visit. I’ve been doing research of online universities where my daughter could continue her education.

Wednesday, another day with walking. I got my review finished for tomorrow first thing. I took my daughter to a chiro massage appt.  She is still struggling still after stopping a medication last week which had bad side affects. I was so tired I went to sleep about 9pm.

Thursday, today is nicer and warmer than yesterday.  I did the normal walking. Then I worked on more blog stuff and university information. I was also caught up in finishing Iron Flame.

Friday,  we had to get up and go to a morning appt with the gastro specialist.  It’s about an hour drive and it was early for us. Lulu was not impressed with going back into the crate only a couple hours after wake up. On the way home, we did a pickup at Sam’s Club.   My daughter went back to bed.  I got to work on getting more college info, writing blog posts and reviews.

Saturday,  I took my time just a little this morning. I watered the remaining garden plants and herbs.  I’ve been closing the vents on the crawl space under the house.  Next to get out and do some leaf blowing. I used it until both batteries were dead. I got my daughter to help and we trimmed Lulu’s nails and then I took Lulu on a medium walk. I placed an order for some gorgeous plants from the nursery nearby.  Today’s the last 70F/ 21C type weather with the temperature dropping all week but it looks like no freezing nights.

Things I Learned This Week:

OK  if I’m asking for help, I’m also going to share the cool things I learn. You may already know them but hopefully it will help someone.

No effort to work with FS Poster but hopefully I can do more now that I am caught up a bit with reviews.

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by  Reading Reality.  These are the exciting ARCs I received this week (If you click on the cover, it will take you to the Goodreads entry):

My grateful thanks to Recorded Books.

(If you click on the cover, it will take you to the Goodreads entry)

I picked my Amazon First Reads for November.

Now the really scary one. This is all the Kindle and Audible freebies I grabbed this past week. You can see why I need to do Thrifty Thursday to be sure I read a few at least one each month.

I really meant to cut back on freebies BUT  they are free so I guess that won’t be happening.

I’m not including things like reviews posted or upcoming as they are always in the right sidebar. And, my challenge status is also there.

  1. I’m sorry to hear your daughter is still feeling poorly. I hope she feels better. Sounds like you’ve had a busy week with all of it. Nice that you’re having some pleasant weather.

We’re not yet freezing at night, but we’ve been close. Over an inch and a half of rain today. It’s supposed to warm up a bit after today, high 60s for the rest of the week.

  2. I’m so sorry your daughter is still dealing with all those issues! I hope that she’s able to at least enjoy some holiday food this week. What kind of degree is she looking to do online? We’re getting the colder weather this week too! Hoping for some rain Monday. And I’m hoping to get a lot of commenting on other blogs done while I’m home from school this week.

  3. I’m glad you’re slowly getting back to normal with your foot and walk distances. A busy week of chores, errands, and online tasks for you. Look forward to hearing about your beautiful plant order. Yay for getting an audio of System Collapse. I trimmed back brush and plants that are finally done after the frost and ice rain we got last week and looks like maybe just one more raking for us. I’ve enjoyed the exercise, but soon snow shoveling will replace it. LOL

Wishing you and your daughter a good Thanksgiving week, Anne!

  4. Hey there. Sorry to hear your daughter is still not feeling great. I hope she gets some rest and feels okay for the holidays. What will you guys do to celebrate? My week was pretty low-key with several todos and errands. We had a couple of really nice days (60F) and I was sure to get out and walk before the sunset and it got cold again. I finished The Olympian Affair and pray that the next one comes out sooner than later!

  5. System Collapse reminds me I need to get caught up on Murderbot. And ooh a new Andrew Mayne. I read my first book by him earlier this year.

I hope things improve for your daughter and she feels better. And that you have a nice Thanksgiving!
