This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
I’m doing something different this year. I’m going to highlight series by favorite authors. I chose the authors based on being some of my favorite authors and having multiple series. Some authors I love only have one series or one series with a bunch of spin-offs. Also, I am only including the series I have read and enjoyed.
Kelley Armstrong is a huge favorite author and writes some of my favorite series. She is talented in many genres. These series include urban fantasy, fantasy romance, scifi fantasy, historical mystery, and fantasy.
Here are the Kelley Armstrong series:
Otherworld Cainsville Cursed Luck
A Stitch in Time A Rip Through Time
( as far as I can tell these 2 series are not related but have elements in common)
Rockton which is in the same world and continues in Haven’s Rock

I started Rockton and Otherworld but didn’t proceed. I may resume Rockton.
They are all great. I have only read the first one or two of the Otherworld. I really love Rockton. The two time “travel” books are ones I think you would love so much.
I love Rockton/Haven’s Rock. I started Rip in Time and I enjoyed Stitch in Time. I started Cursed, but didn’t really take with that one. I do want to finish the Cainsville series, eventually.
I have big plans to read Cainsville. Other than Otherwold, I’ve read all the rest of them.
Love her Rockton, Haven’s Rock, and A Rip Through Time series’. I also read her YA Darkest Powers years ago. Loved them. I’ve read a few standalone horror or mystery books as well. Omens was a DNF and I only mildly liked Cursed Power. I have Stitched in Time just need to read it.
I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve read but skipped the horror ones.
Nice list. I have only read Bitten book 1 in the Otherworld series. I’ve got some of her other works on my TBR. Thanks for sharing.
The two time travel series and the Rockton mysteries are real favorites of mine.
I’ve read the first two books of the Casey Daniels series and I own Omens but haven’t read it or anything else in the series. I really want to read more by this author.
I hope to get to the Cainsville series next month. I’ve loved the time travel and all the Casey ones.
A Stitch in Time caught my eye for some reason.
I’ve loved all her recent series.
I think other than her recent adult contemporary romance that came out last year, I’ve only read her YA books, and mostly standalones I think? But I do like this author’s writing.
I’ve really fallen in love with both her historical time-travel books and the modern Canadian wilderness mysteries.
