I read quickly and easily. Finally we are getting at the heart of the family and Margo’s rift with her mother. Margo gets a call from a nurse who worked with her dad. Maybe Margo can finally solve the crime which put her father in prison. The  Angelhart Investigations series is fast paced and the […]
Sarah Beth Durst has become the Queen of Cozy Romantasy for me. So far all of the books in the Spellshop series have been adorably cute with interesting characters in strange and unusual places with magic surrounding them in one way or another. Sea of Charms is the third book of the series and does […]
In a world where everyone’s fate is woven into a magic tapestry some believe your entire life is already determined and there is nothing you can do about it. The Quinn & Costa series has been a favorite since the first book. Kara Quinn is the main character and her skills are solid. She grew up street smart and grifter smart so she knows how to blend and read people. The backdrop to the series is Kara’s developing relationship with Matt. Kara Quinn is […]
In small town Texas, an unusual and gruesome murder has rocked the community. Claire Tinsley, is headed there because of an urgent text from her brother, only to find he is nowhere to be found and there are suspicions he may have been involved in the murder. I enjoy the family and its connections set in Phoenix Arizona. It gives me the feel somewhat of the Kincaid family, […]
Allision Brennan has been doing more stand alone mysteries. Beach Reads and Deadly Deeds has mysteries, a love of books, and a romance. The island setting is an amazing backdrop. Mia is a CPA taking a vacation before her promotion. Her dream is to run a bookstore, but she feels she needs the safe route […]
