So I’m joining this challenge as it sounds fun. It is by Anna at Herding Cats & Burning Soup and the info page is here. I think, getting ahead is all about planning and organizing. These are two of my favorite things, along with lists! Anyway, there are some posts I do which can be done in advance. Here’s some of the posts I plan to do ahead:
- ICYMI posts for 2019, which are the ones from when I was at Yummy Men & Kick Ass Chicks
- My end of the year Challenge Results posts
- Obviously, November and December Reviews
- Thrifty Thursday posts
- Series on Saturday posts
- Maybe start organizing the Read-along for 2019
- I’d really like to get some posts together for the 2019 June is Audiobook Month!
Some of those are easier to do than others, but no pain no gain. It’s really no pain to plan ahead. Melanie, Robin and KC – if you want to get reviews scheduled and ready to go for November with me, let me know!

–One month to complete an extra 30 blog posts
–Take the number of posts you have complete on October 1 and add 30 to that number. THAT is your total posts you’re aiming for by November 1
–All finished posts must go live after November 1
Who Can Join
Any blogger! Doesn’t matter if you’re new or seasoned or what type of blog you run.
This challenge is all about trying. It’s okay if you don’t make it to 30 additional posts. If you get ahead by 5 posts…that’s a win in my book.

I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places,live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

Good luck! I’m doing this one, too… with no expectation of getting 30 whole posts done, based on my past performance, but with the hope of getting at least a little ahead of where I am now.
30 does seem rather optimistic but I’m going to go for it. I saw it on your blog I think – I hadn’t heard of it. Good luck to you as well.
Good luck! I don’t do challenges because since I retired I try to not HAVE to do that much. Truth. I just stick to a few reviews for Delighted Reader and Hot Listens and visit a bit and I’m good for the month.
Well, that’s all good. I just thought I would give it a try since I do love organizing and planning.
I just meant that I am lazy to the bone these days. I wish I had the energy to do all I wish I could do. I guess I have a bad case of the “I don’t want to’s” these days. lol
Well you have to decide your pace for yourself. I go in cycles.

Carole, I think she does it 3 times a year from what I read. It seemed like a good time for me, both because I love planning and I’m planning ahead to some things for 2019. Plus year end type posts.

Thanks Michelle! I try to do my setups in advance so all I have to do is write the review. But the concept of this challenge made me think a step further which is great!
