This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
The topic here, by my definition, is a series with main characters who are Demons / Devils. These are the ones which came to mind. I enjoyed some more than others. The team had to help me find some of these.
Since I haven’t read everything, it’s a subset of the possibilities. I’m sure I am forgetting some great authors. There are also plenty of authors I have yet to read. Please share your favorites with me in the comments, also.

I voted for Demonica because 1) I freakin’ loved that series – some of the best and 2) I actually haven’t read the other series you picked! O.o I haven’t read any demon series lately because I don’t really do PNR much anymore, but back in the day, I also loved the Succubus Diaries by Jill Myles. It was a fabulous series – so worth the read.
I was surprised how many of these series I know when I started looking at it. There’s also series by Gena Showalter and Eve Langlais I have freebies of those I haven’t managed to read yet.
OMG… How could I forget Lords of the Underworld… they are demons. I loved that series so much…. up until a point. And then I had to stop.
I had to stop LotU at one point. I think, if I remember correctly, you went a book or two past where I stopped. I think the series just went on too long. Some series can go into the teens or every so often twenties and others just can’t.
Wow! Can’t believe I’ve read at least one book in all 6 series mentioned. Only read one Immortal Instruments, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. Another series I really liked is Jenna Black’s Morgan Kingsley series which I think is getting reissued since I saw a post about it somewhere recently..
I enjoy Jenna Black. I have wanted to read that series. I was surprised how many devil / demon series I had read when I planned the theme.
I guess I haven’t read many strictly demon series. I’ve read Mortal Instruments and Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld. Oh, and Eve Langlais’ Welcome to Hell and Lucifer’s Daughter ones.
yes I have some of those Eve Langlais ones but didn’t get to them before this post, and the first in the Gena Showalter series.
I went with Annette Marie, although these are fab choices!

One of my Goodreads groups selected The Mortal Instruments for a series read and I fully expected it to be a bust but I ended up loving it!

I love the Georgina Kincaid series! Oh man… It’s been years since I’ve read it but it’s still on my physical bookshelf. I think I could be tempted to dive back into it for a re-read soon.
The Hollows, Mortal Instruments and GC Demonized are also favourites! Haven’t read the other two series though… I should probably give them a try!

this post is like a giant list of all the books I’ve been meaning to read LOL! I did read The Hollows (until the reboot – I haven’t read the new books yet) and I have read the first Larissa Ione, but other than that I have so much reading to do. I feel like I will NEVER catch up.
There are some good ones here. I did a Kim Harrison (Hollows) Read-along in 2014 because I hadn’t read any of the books. I absolutely love the Annette Marie books and will probably do a Read-along of them at some point. They are so fun. I read the Larissa Ione books early on before I started blogging. I’m just starting the Kara Gillian and Georgina Kincaid ones so we could buddy read but it’s like how many series can I read all at once, like you say.
