Hmmm… looking over these lists, I don’t see too many that I also listened to. I’ll be putting together some of my favorite audiobooks as part of my audiobook year-end check-in later this month. It will be interesting to see which rise to the top. Thanks for sharing.
I think you’d love the Richard Osman mysteries. They are cozy with the four sleuths living in a senior facility. I look forward to seeing your top picks.
I can’t believe I haven’t read any of these! I do have A Wizards Guide to Defensive Baking on my TBR list though! Guess I need to push it up the list 🙂
Well these are mostly new ones and that wasn’t your focus this year.
I love how all the lists are quite different. I have Fated blades downloaded- looks like I need to listen ASAP
That’s why I love my team. We all have different but awesome picks.
I can tell I’m not listening as much as I used to. I’m only familiar with one book on these lists, Fated Blades by Ilona Andrews. I’ll have to look into all of these books. Glad you all had so many wonderful listens this year. I hope you have as many, if not more, next year.
We all go in cycles. In November I had nearly all ebook ARCs which drove me crazy. In January, I have almost all audio ARCs which is sort of better but a balance is the best. There just tend to be certain books or certain narrators I want to read or listen so sometimes I just have the imbalance.
I see quite a few of my favorite narrators…David Chandler, Davina Porter, Hillary Huber, Steven Weber, Will Patton and more💜 Nice lists, ladies!
Yes all those plus STEVE WEST. It’s so hard to choose.
Will Patton is so good. I wish he narrated more of the books I listen to. Davina Porter is also really good and Steve West is a favorite of mine.
So honored to be on your list, Sophia! Thank you 😊 and happy holidays 🎄
The listening experience of your book stuck with me long afterward, Karen. 🙂
I loved Fated Blades and I’ll be listening to the audio at some point since my husband will want to “read”. Yep, Lisa Gardner’s Before She Disappeared narrated by Hilary Huber was another win!
So glad you enjoyed them! I do audiobooks separate so I get to have 20 favorites.
Sounds like you all listened to some great audiobooks. I had some great audio reads this year as well, like SJ Pajonas’ Flyght series which I re-read in audio, as well as Murder at the Taffy Shop and The Fire Prophecy. I didn’t listen to as many audio this year, so picking 10 would be relatively easy.
I’m glad to hear some of your listens. I’d like to get to the SJ Pajonas’ series sometime.
So many great books! I want to listen to more audiobooks in 2022, so this is a great list to start with.
Audiobooks have allowed me to nearly double how many books I read each year. Because audio can be listened when doing tasks like cooking, laundry, walking or other low brain tasks.
I listened to 3 of yours Anne-In Her Tracks, Stolen Hours and Win. I loved them all too. I haven’t listened to any of the others listed. I’ll have to look some of them up.
I chose things from a bunch of genres so it’s a real mix of titles.
I’ve got a copy of The Heart Principle, but still haven’t read the second book in the series even though I really liked the first! Other than that haven’t listened or read any of these. But some will be added to my TBR!
I enjoy seeing all the lists and adding to my tbr. I hope you find some you enjoy.
