This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
The topic here, by my definition, is a series with main characters who are Journalists. These are the ones which came to mind. I enjoyed some more than others. The team had to help me find some of these.
Since I haven’t read everything, it’s a subset of the possibilities. I’m sure I am forgetting some great authors. There are also plenty of authors I have yet to read. Please share your favorites with me in the comments, also.

I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

Huh… Interesting grouping. I haven’t read any of these, and I’m struggling to recall if I’ve read anything that features a journalist. I know I’ve watched some movies. Oh… so I searched “journalist” in my notes and found: As Seen on TV by Meredith Schorr… that was a fun one, but standalone. Another standalone is Wild Rain by Beverly Jenkins. And it actually goes on from there. I had at least three more books that the main male or female was a journalist. Just none over the course of a series.
It was a hard theme to research because it’s not well documented in Goodreads as a search keyword. I do always try to get a variety of actual genre. Here we have romantic suspense, historical mystery, cozy mystery, mystery-thriller. The Pamela Clare one is my favorite romantic suspense. The Joe Talbert series is amazing.
As soon as I saw the focus, I-Team popped right into my head! It’s my favorite.

I don’t think I’ve read any journalist series. But, I like the sound of them.
Pamela Clare is one you’d love and has the most romance of any of these. It’s an amazing series.
