This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
The topic here, by my definition, is a series with characters who are Aliens. These are the ones which came to mind. I enjoyed some more than others. They seem to fall mostly into the romance or scifi genres.
Since I haven’t read everything, it’s a subset of the possibilities. I’m sure I am forgetting some great authors. There are also plenty of authors I have yet to read. Please share your favorites with me in the comments, also.
My favorite Aliens series are (in no particular order):

I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places, live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters. The other thing I enjoy is humor.
I’ve read and enjoyed all those, but the Jack Campbells and those are a when not if. I also like Veronica Scott’s Badari Warriors series, Ilona Andrew’s Innkeeper Chronicles (go Orro, my fav), Ann Aguirre’s Galactic Love, Gail Koger’s Coletti Warlords, Nnedi Okorafor’s Binti, Patty Jansen’s Ambassador, and I’ll stop there. Love this theme, obviously.
oh Sophia! You bring up some great ones I didn’t think about. Especially Ilona Andrews of course. The Jack Campbell books are amazing. I listened to them from the library (on CD!) and have been buying them. I LOVE them. Start at the beginning. The narrator is awesome too.
OH – that’s true about Midnight Breeds… I forgot. It’s marketed as vampire books, but they are aliens! I’ve also read one of Bristol’s series, but not that one, and many years ago, I read a Hackett Cyborg/alien series. I think the most “alien” series I’ve read is Ann Aguirre’s Galactic Love… that was some cross-species romance happening!
I included Kresley Cole’s Immortals after Dark series, since there are some aliens in it, and I also included Dianne Duvall’s Immortal Guardians series (Ami is an alien) and the Aldebarian Alliance series where some of the immortal guardians find love with aliens out in the universe!
yes they were good. If you enjoy Scifi the Jack Campbell and Mur Lafferty ones are great also. For romance, the Ruby Dixon, Cara Bristol and Anna Hackett are fun.

They are all interesting reads. Sophia pointed more I forgot. It’s a category where I would read more.

Thanks for sharing Janie.
Haven’t read them but they sound good.
Well I enjoyed all of these and they are in different genres. Some are more scifi and some are more romance oriented.
I’ve only read the Midnight Breed books, but I enjoyed them.
