I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places,live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

These are all books that I haven’t read. It’s nice to be seeing everyone’s lists today though.
I love seeing people’s list of books this time of the year and end up adding so many to my wish list. 🙂
Same Sophia. It is so fun to see someone else who has maybe one or two books in common and then all the other things that you can add to that tbr pile that never seems to get any smaller.
Characters make the story. Thankfully I’ve read some from all the other lists because my TBR is huge already.
Oh yes, we share a few favorites. Love Murderbot and Conlan Lenart and Tina (from Chaos Station), too.
Murderbot and ART are so great. I also love the entire cast of the Thursday Murder Club but only named a few.
All things Kate Daniels world are always my favorite but it was so much fun to see Conlan more in the Wilmington years.
Definitely those are my favorites too.

WOW! I had a lot of fun with Gemma and I still have lots of crazy stories.
Oh yes, I totally agree with Robin, Cletus Winston is one of my ALL TIME favorite characters, lol. I can’t wait to read Fourth Wing, I hope I fall in love with the characters too. And James Gray from The Kaiju Preservation Society was a fun character too. Thanks for sharing!
Cletus…I love seeing even his bit parts in all the books by Penny Reid. He is so much fun to read!
I also will read the Fourth Wing in 2024.
I wasn’t sure if it was James Gray or Wil Wheaton narrating James Gray but that was one of the more fun and silly books I read this year. 🙂

Cletus would definitely be there if my list was book boyfriends but yes, he’s a great character in all ways.

Definitely. I often think of just chilling with an episode of Sanctuary Moon. Love his grumpy, protective way with his humans.
