Now I am a host for the challenge so I don’t participate in the giveaways but I’m still tracking my reads and savings. I had a total of 38 now for the middle of the year. At the end of the year, I am at 91 library books.
I use my library extensively for all formats. I take the opportunity to read or listen to earlier books in a series when I am catching up, to try out new series, or for non-fiction research.

I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places,live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

I get most of my books from the library, and I don’t mind waiting for them either. I use Libby mostly these days and I love it.
I definitely love my library. I use Libby and Hoopla. They seem to have some different selections. Good for you! I love to know people are loving their library.
I haven’t heard of Hoopla before. I’m going to see if I can get it here too.

Thanks Sophia. yes I use it a lot for backlists. They are getting worse about having backlist in digital though. And it’s just not as convenient for me to do print. That’s why I buy some of my very favorite series.

Wow! That’s crazy to think about! I would guess I could save that much using Libby too more and canceling my Audible subscription. Which I have put on hold for the next few months.
It depends. Some things are Audible only so I have that also. But one can only read so many books a year so certainly if I didn’t want certain books I could take 6 months or a year off Audible and then come back with one of the discounts they offer new subscribers.
