This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.
The topic here, by my definition, is a series with characters who are Lawyers. These are the ones which came to mind. I enjoyed some more than others. They seem to fall mostly into the mystery or thriller genres.
Since I haven’t read everything, it’s a subset of the possibilities. I’m sure I am forgetting some great authors. There are also plenty of authors I have yet to read. Please share your favorites with me in the comments, also.
My favorite Lawyers series are (in no particular order):

Wall Street Journal bestselling author Melinda Leigh is a fully recovered banker. A life-long lover of books, she started writing as a way to preserve her sanity while raising her kids. Over the next few years, she learned a few things about writing a book. The process was much more fun than analyzing financial statements, and she decided to turn her hobby into a career. Melinda’s debut novel, SHE CAN RUN, was nominated for Best First Novel by the International Thriller Writers. She is a RITA® Award Finalist and has earned three Daphne du Maurier Award nominations, two Silver Falchion Awards, and a Golden Leaf.

She lives in a messy house in the suburbs with her husband, two kids, a couple of shelter dogs and two rescue cats who clearly run the show. With such a pleasant life, she has no explanation for the sometimes dark and disturbing nature of her imagination.

I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places, live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters. The other thing I enjoy is humor.
I don’t think I’ve read any series you haven’t already discovered. I love legal thrillers but most of them are standalones. I was trying to think of more but came up empty. I’ll have to check out Margolin. I believe I’ve collected some of the series.
I do love the Morgan Dane and Daniel Pitt books. I’ll have to check out the others. Most of my experience of legal thrillers is with John Grisham’s standalones.
You’ve given me some more to add to my TBR thank you! I can’t think of lawyers without thinking of John Grisham books. My Mom used to read them so they were books that were readily available to me in the house.
yes I thought of John Grisham but I’ve mostly seen movies of his books, rather than reading them. Also I think of them as standalones more than series but I may be wrong about that as it’s been awhile since I looked at his books.
Love this category!!!
Thanks Jonetta. Do you have favorites I haven’t read? Also have you read Phillip Margolin? I just recently found that series and I LOVE it.

I’ve not read any of these. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your series on Saturday posts.
Thank you! I try to do some interesting themes.
So many great titles. You cannot go wrong really.
Thank you. These are my favorites of ones I have read. I have a huge pile of lawyer freebies I haven’t finished yet though.

One day I might try The Lincoln Lawyer again
I enjoy the lawyer books because they are mysteries and the legal plays.
