As the oldest of the ten Abbott siblings, Hunter prides himself on his ability to solve other people’s problems, but now he has a problem of his own—how to convince the woman of his dreams that his love is for keeps.
As the chief financial officer, Hunter Abbott manages the family’s various business interests while “fixing” things for the people he loves. But the one thing he can’t fix is his undeniable attraction to Megan Kane. Instead, Hunter is prepared to do whatever it takes to show Megan that he’s the man for her.Megan’s sister rocks her with the news that she and her husband are moving overseas, leaving Megan truly alone. With her sister—and her job at the diner—going away, Megan finds herself leaning on the sexy, button-down accountant who isn’t afraid to lay it all on the line for her. But Megan has watched too many people she loves leave her. Can she risk her heart on Hunter?
I really love this series. It captured me with the first book, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE , when I fell in love with Will and has never let me go. This family of TEN children set in a small Vermont mountain town is warm, funny, and sexy. The titles are all Beatles songs because Gramps, Elmer, loves the Beatles.
The family and small town dynamics are great. The characters feel like family and friends. The stories are somewhat typical and almost realistic romance but with the humor and caring, they are far better than most in this genre. It is so comforting to see other family members from previous books. I have to admit one of the reasons I enjoyed this book so much is there was more Will and I’ll always be in love with him.
AND I LOVE HER is about Hunter, the oldest Abbott and twin of Hannah (Book 2). He has been attracted to Megan for years. Hunter is the CFO for his families’ business. Hunter is amazing. He is 35 and mature enough to know what he wants, in control of his actions, and a really decent person, as all the Abbotts are. OK, he’s almost an unbelievably nice guy and smart and hot and TIDY.
Megan is a waitress at the town diner, owned by her older sister, Nina. They lost their parents when Megan was just 18 and she’s never totally recovered. Megan always had a crush on Will (and really who wouldn’t?). Megan is younger than Hunter and has some issues to resolve from her parents’ death. She also is facing many changes in her life at this time. Whether good or bad, changes can be hard.
I highly recommend this entire series. AND I LOVE HER is another heart-warming book in a beloved series. The next release in July 2015 is a novella for Will!! and Cameron’s wedding; there’s no chance I’ll miss it!
Giggle worthy quote:
“Hunter,” Charley said. “Rolled out on the wrong side of the bed this morning and was late to work.”
“You don’t say,” Elmer replied. “It’s the end of the world as we know it.”
“Right?” Will asked with a laugh. “That’s what we said, too.”

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am to have found this blog! Your reviews are spot on, and I LOVE the fact that you break things down by genre! I love Erotic Romance (dont judge me) and I hate nothing more than to read a book thinking by the provocative picture on the cover that it will be juicy and it just ends up being some fluff. Keep up the good work, I really appreciate you all!
Karen – I’m so glad you found us, too and that it is helpful for you! Thanks so much for the appreciation. Anne
