And when Sophie's estranged father arrives in town and starts causing trouble, the stage is set for disaster...unless Finn can convince her that, for once in her life, she has someone to lean on.

So far, the Opposites Attract series is my favorite by Erin Nicholas. I’ve enjoyed all her books, but this series hits the spot. I fell in love with the three females sharing a home in Completely Yours and went on to Forever Mine and now, Totally His. She does a fantastic job with her characters and their dialogue. Their banter and authentic communication is refreshing and funny.

The plots are fiction but they aren’t so far from reality one can’t believe them. This story has insta-lust. Sophie has a tough background without much family support. Finn has had a wealth of family support throughout his life. Sophie loves the idea of a big, close family but isn’t sure she can make it work. I liked them both; their strength, honesty, growth, integrity and compassion. Finn was rather awesome plus funny in his protectiveness. There’s plenty of interesting things happening with Finn’s mom, Sophie’s father, and the extended friends and family.

I do wish, so much, there had been a few more scenes or actually a bit more dialogue, between Sophie and her roommates. I enjoyed their connection so much in the first two books and while they are here, it’s not as much. If you didn’t read the first two books, you wouldn’t really have much sense of their strength. It makes it possible and easy to read this as a standalone, but I would have like a bit more of them. I’m only talking a couple pages, not a huge amount. It would be for the emotional impact more than any plot point.

The trilogy is now complete so you can read them all. Recommended.
