Join the 2023 Library Love Challenge

Welcome back to the seventh annual Library Love Challenge hosted by Angel’s Guilty Pleasures & Books of My Heart.

We hope you will join us in celebrating and supporting libraries.

If you are like us; then you would like to purchase every book you want to read. And, well that can put a hurt on your wallet. One way to help lessen the hurt is to check out books (prints, ebooks, or audios) from the library. If you do this, it will help save you LOTS of money $$.

Getting a library card in most places is FREE. So, if you love to read and/or listen to books then grab your library card and join the challenge.

    • We’d love to have you Wendy. I use the library for reading backlists of authors or if I miss the first book or two in a series. Or even if I want to read a different format sometimes. I also use it to try new authors. And because I only write a couple sentences on Goodreads I don’t have the pressure of reviewing – it’s just fun reading.

    • I also try not to stress myself. Ordinarily I read a lot of books but I could run into a problem and not manage it. I plan for 60 which is actually more than 1 per week and somehow I usually end up between there and 100. It doesn’t seem possible to read 1-2 library books a week with the ARCs and freebies I read but I always do somehow. Linking is another issue. I link twice a month so I don’t even wait until the end of the month. I only do Goodreads reviews for most library books with a couple lines which keeps it on the easier side for me.
