Now I am a host for the challenge so I don’t participate in the giveaways but I’m still tracking my reads and savings. I have a total of 38 now for the middle of the year.
I use my library extensively for all formats. I take the opportunity to read or listen to earlier books in a series when I am catching up, to try out new series, or for non-fiction research.

Amazing stack and savings, Anne!
I’ll have to tally up my savings and do a post on my Facebook. I’m on track for my personal goal of 24-35 books with 22 books. 🙂
That’s great Sophia. My library card is always on fire.
That’s great. I use NetGalley a lot and the list of free books the authors put out a couple of times a year. I have 200 books on my Kindle right now.
That’s great Mary. Keep up the book love and library love. I am an equal opportunity book lover. I get them from publishers, authors, libraries, and I buy them.
I’ve managed 10 of 12 so far.
You’re doing well. Way ahead of schedule!
You’re doing great! And I love the idea of tracking your savings. I can’t seem to fit in nearly as many audiobooks as you do, but I’m working on it. Alas, my library has Libby rather than Hoopla, and did not have the Iron Druid audibooks, so I have been buying those.
I may be a little late getting my half-year post up; I’m swamped with work right now.
Thanks Kara. The checkin isn’t required; it’s just a great time to check your status and savings. I save a LOT. I have more than one library and one of the free cards I got during COVID has Hoopla. It is a good source for some books. I can’t explain the criteria though for what will be there. I just have to check.
Great job, Anne💜
The Library is our friend. Thanks Jonetta.
Sadly, as a librarian, for the most part I only borrow the digital audiobooks. Occasionally the award nominees from either my own library or the public.
I don’t see borrowing the digital copies as sad. I love digital and that’s almost all of what I borrow.
I’m at 31/36 so I’m set to make it and then some! I didn’t add my saving up, but I’ll work on it and then do a total at the end of the year. I’m sure it’ll be a lot!
Great work! It’s especially saving if you get audio books.
