What a fun topic. I like seeing all your favorite characters from this year. I like how Sophia went with some duo’s for some books, that makes sense as in some cases I would have trouble picking only one. I only read the first two Kelly Armstrong books with Casey Duncan & Eric Dalton, I liked both characters.
That was my struggle too. Nice to see come duo names there.
Thanks, Lola! There are books where the characters are equally important to me. Can’t pick just one. 🙂
Thank you Lola. It’s true there are some great teams and couples which fit this category well.
I see quite. Few friends here…Bree & Matt, Mercy & Truman, Sara!
Yes, exactly! They are our friends, Jonetta. 🙂
They are like dear friends.
What a fun category!!! 😀
And Roman? Love it
Roman was a hoot in his own book. 🙂
So many great characters for a variety of reasons. But they are strong individuals with unique characteristics.
Anne! Look at that we both had Ana Dolabra and Roman!
I didn’t list them here, but I loved both those characters, too. I can’t wait to read further adventures for them both. 🙂
Yes! They are worthy of the attention as great characters.
This topic is always a struggle for me. I know Roman – Sanctuary would be on my list. Love reading that novel this year. Thanks for sharing!
It was so hard to limit it to 10…there were so many great characters this last year.
That’s great you had so many. ^_^
I don’t find it difficult to find great characters but to not keep the same ones I love and let some new favorites shine.
I know that feeling. I have trouble in that I go back to old favorites. ^_^
If I had just done characters instead of book boyfriends, Angel Crawford would definitely have been at the top of my list!
Yup, Angel is a winner.
All of these are new to me. I hardly ever see the books I read on other blogs. lol
yes, that happens to me too. Do you (I) follow blogs run by people I really like or that have books genres you (I) prefer to read? I do some of each. Also some people who follow me even if I don’ read the same genres. Diversity is good though, it broadens my world.
This is a tough one. Angel Crawford would probably be the top on my list. Roman definitely stands out for me. I also love Georgie from the Royal Spyness series by Rhys Bowen.
Characters make the books! So start with favorite books and you will find them.
Haven’t read any of these. But the characters and book covers look good!!
That’s part of the deal with the lists is I’m adding to my TBR.
I love Emily Wilde and Lila Bard too. 🙂 My cell phone is named Lila Bard so any time it connects with the Blu Tooth in my car, the name Lila Bard comes up. LOL
I also love Lila Bard but didn’t read her books this year. She is awesome. So many awesome characters that are the foundation to amazing books.
