Anne’s Progress:
Now I am a host for the challenge so I don’t participate in the giveaways but I’m still tracking my reads and savings. I had a total of 26 for the middle of the year. At the end of the year, I am at 62 library books.
I use my library extensively for all formats. I take the opportunity to read or listen to earlier books in a series when I am catching up, to try out new series, or for non-fiction research.

I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters.The other thing I enjoy is humor.

Me too. Usually my library numbers are higher. I only read 62 this year from the library and it’s normally around 100.

Your help in hosting and planning and everything for this Challenge is apricated. I wish I had gotten to more Library reads, but still in this slump. Looking forward to 2025 and kicking the reading slump.
You can do it! You won’t have that whole house remodeling and move to distract you.
I finished up with 12 audiobooks from the library and met my goal. Assuming I would have purchased them with a credit from Audible or Libro.fm I saved approx. 186.00

What a great challenge. I’m hanging my head in shame… since we switched to digital and audio books – I’ve drifted away from my library. Once I’ve got things a bit more sorted out, I’ll see if I can go there again. There was a time when we visited the library at least twice a week. Thank you for a timely reminder, Anne:).
I love the library but I never used it as much because I could access the library at home any time of day or night. When I went to the library I had to try to go during their open hours (I was usually working). Most were closed Sunday when I was most likely not to be working. I often had overdue books. Digital avoids all those problems. Do you have digital from your libraries?
