This was the worst. I had some other 5 heart books I really wanted to include. Some of them will show up on the best Audiobooks list tomorrow, so I am cheating and having a Top 20+. Audiobooks where the narration played more of a factor ended up on that list, even if I would include them in my Top 10 favorites.

The Tainted Cup will be on my list too. I usually choose my top five books of the year (with other favorites listed in each genre) but I’m having a hard time narrowing it down this year!
There were some great books this year for sure!
Well you can see I didn’t manage it! The Tainted Cup was excellent. I am so looking forward to the next one.
I’m glad you found so many good books! I liked The Fragile Threads of Power too.
I also really enjoyed Fragile Threads of Power but I think it was on my 2023 list. There were so many great books this year.
I didn’t get to it until this year. Sometimes when you extend a series or spin off you lose something. I was so glad that wasn’t the case here.
Wonderful selections!
Thank you! We each have some genre preferences, which makes it even more fun.
Loved Mind Games and Worst Case Scenario, too. Great that your least includes a nice genre mix.
Thanks Jonetta. Both my list and the combination of our lists and friends’ lists provide lots of genre diversification.
So many great books on this list. I’ve read a few. I did my favorites a little earlier in the month. Since I didn’t read much this year it’s sparce.
Angela, you are still welcome to link up your favorites if you like.
oops ok you did , that’s great!
Yep I did! ^_^
What a surprise to see Kiss of Steel (Cosmic Mates 3) made Sophia’s top ten list. Thank you, Sophia!!
Congrats for being a Top 10 favorite
Oh yes, it was a gem, Cara!
I’m assuming maybe the WTZ books will be on your audiobook list like they are on mine? lol.
yes Ma’am!
It is agonizing picking ten for each of the lists. So many wonderful books out there. Loved seeing what made you and Robin’s lists. 🙂
Thank you I was not successful at keeping it to 10 and did even worse with audiobooks. I agree I love seeing all this lists.
Anne and I overlapped in a few places. You and I didn’t share a single book. Maybe for the audios we will match 1
Yes, maybe, Robin! I spread a lot out into other categories because there were just too many gems this year. 🙂
I probably won’t post my best of 2024s until next week, but I’m sure I’ll include Shades of Mercy, Winter Lost, Mind Games and An Instruction in Shadow. Loved them, too!
yes I enjoyed all of those! Well you are welcome to link up next week if you like.
I decided to only list ebooks for my top ten and not include any audiobooks and keep those for the audio post, so that made it a bit easier. I like seeing the books that made your lists, lots of author names I recognize, but haven’t read any of them. I have a Carolyn Brown review copy from this year that I still haven’t read, maybe next year I can finally get to it.
Well as you see by the audio post today I wasn’t able to hold to 10 there either. lol I do read slightly more audiobooks than ebooks I think. And some months, nearly all audio. Thanks so much for sharing your lists with us.
Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs!!!!!!
This author makes the list with each book she writes.
What a fantastic mix of books and I see so many that are on my TBR. I especially need to read the JD Robb books. It’s kind of ridiculous that I haven’t read any.
h JD Robb is excellent. You should try them. Just when you think they are all the same, one really hits it out of the park emotionally. But yes, we have many genres and I celebrate that.
I loved Mind Games and Slow Dance. The only two I’ve read of all of yours. I enjoyed seeing everyone’s favorites.
I always enjoy seeing people’s favorites.
I see some familiar books there! Sanctuary was such a good one, too!
I just read The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter and it is sooo good. Definitely in my top 5 books!
Thanks Jen. I’m glad you found some you really love.
