SHE TAKES THE PLUNGE.
Teal Williams is content with her career as a ship’s master mechanic—until Zane Cutter, the “Casanova of the Caribbean,” makes her an offer she can’t refuse: to climb on board with him for a real-life treasure hunt. Teal must help him dredge up a shipwrecked vessel containing an abundance of gold, silver, and emeralds—and she’ll claim part of the prize.
HE’S BLOWN OFF COURSE.
Zane needs a mechanic—not a lover—and Teal, who can also dive, is perfect for the job. So it suits him just fine that Teal is completely immune to his charms…or so he tells himself. But with a deadly enemy in their midst—one who’s silently edging closer—Zane and Teal sink into troubled waters. Trapped in the middle of a perilous sea, they have no one to turn to but each other as they face down a danger that runs unfathomably deep—and a passion that runs even deeper…
Read It, Track It is a way to track books for my reading challenges and they will be super short.
I got this library book to decide if I wanted to read and review the upcoming fourth book in the Cutter Cay series. I’ve always wanted to read this author as my impression was it would be romantic suspense. For various reasons, I decided to do it so you will be seeing the next two books in these short reviews, before the new one.
It was fairly enjoyable to read. There are hot guys, treasure on the seas, and a lovely ocean paradise. There is mystery, action and adventure as the brothers go salvage treasure hunting on the ocean.
The plots and facts involved are either hopelessly cliche or over-the-top drama. The hot guys are sort of man whores and can have any woman they want. They are rich. There are pirates. There are dead parents and bad parents. It’s not as bad as it sounds because I am trying not to spoil but I hope the next one is better.

I’ve not read this author. I’ve wanted to. She was on a panel at RT15 with Patricia Briggs and some others. I really liked her. I’ll be interested in hearing what you think of her other books. Sorry this one wasn’t all that great.
