Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this. Evelyn Thomas' plans for celebrating her 21st birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened. One thing is certain, being married to one of the hottest rock stars on the planet is sure to be a wild ride.

A short review to update challenges
Originally, I saw a cover of one of the books in the Dive Bar series and loved it. Then I saw some decent reviews and finally the narrator was Andi Arndt. I could resist no longer.
So I thought I started at the beginning with Dirty. But it turns out the related series, Stage Dive, is the beginning. I went back and got Lick at the library. I hoped to find more about the town and the bar. I’m listening to the third one now and it hasn’t really happened. I don’t think one needs to read Stage Dive series before Dive Bar series.
Lick is the first in the romance of the members of Stage Dive. Rockstar romance isn’t ever easy, I don’t think. Rockstars have some crazy emotions and passion, also insane fans. I really enjoyed this sexy emotional ride. The story is told mostly from the female point of view so you don’t get David’s perspective other than through his dialogue and actions. While the world isn’t very realistic, the emotional development and progress of the characters is real.
Narration:
Andi Arndt is happily the narrator for this series. She’s an absolute favorite narrator, ever and this is part of why I chose to listen to the series rather than read them. Her performance is a joy. It is so fluent I can just absorb the story without worrying about the voices because they feel authentic. I listened comfortably at 1.5x speed.

It’s an author I heard about but I haven’t tried any of her books
I really am enjoying them. I think these might be her first books. The next series Dive Bar is a little better writing I think. The series itself should be read in order since the characters in this series are tightly related.
This is a series that I want to read eventually, too. I’m glad it turned out well. I enjoy Andi Arndt’s narration and it seems that she does all Kylie Scott’s books, woohoo!
Yes Andi Arndt is a big win. Either series should be read in order but the this series may not need to be read first. I always prefer reading in order though. It’s seriously fun series. It’s not highly realistic with rockstar rich guys ending up with ordinary women but possible. The emotions are real. But these guys didn’t start out rich so they are just guys. I am enjoying them a lot.
I listened to the whole Stage Dive series on audio and enjoyed it. Mal’s book (Play, I think?) was my absolute favorite. Glad you enjoyed this one! And I agree that Andi Arndt is just awesome!
Mal is insane. My review of Play is coming up at noon today. lol
I am so happy to see that you loved this one so much darling. I adore this whole series. So hilarious. And yes this narrator is one of my favorites to listen to.
Yes I totally am loving this series.
I’ve heard of this author but haven’t read anything by her yet. This does sound like a book I might enjoy though.
It’s a great series. I’m really enjoying it.
That happens to me often. A book keeps coming to my attention and I finally can resist no longer:)
I always wanted to read this author and now I’ve been listening in the car while we travel.
