“My name is Rylee and I am a Tracker.”
When children go missing, and the Humans have no leads, I’m the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot.
I’m on the FBI’s wanted list.
I have a werewolf for a pet, a Witch of a best friend, and have no need for anyone else in my life.
But when a salvage starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction. One that is dangerously dark, brooding, and doesn’t know a thing about the supernatural.
One whose kisses set me on fire.
My friend, Sarah, from Queensland, recommended this series to me. She was right – I love it.
I see so much potential in this character, Rylee. She’s smart and caring despite a difficult past. She has talents which are unique and she doesn’t give up. And the fact she hunts for missing children – what could be more compelling?
There is a mystery and suspenseful search aspect. Rylee has an antagonistic relationship with the FBI who can’t be sad she finds the children, only that she is better at their job than they are. But they’re only human, and she has some extra skills.
There are werewolves and vampires and witches and so forth, in their own unique versions here. Rylee has a little family of sorts, after she lost her own, which she adds to during this book. *giggles* The originals are a psychic mother figure who is losing her mind; and a witch, Milly, who is also an outcast. Recently, she saved a childlike werewolf, Alex, from pack brutality / death.
Priceless has a bit of romance and humor. The genre is similar to Kate Daniels, Jane Yellowrock, Rachel Morgan and Allie Beckstrom, which are all favorites of mine. Really, what’s not to love? I’ll definitely be reading on to learn more about Rylee Adamson and her world.
Giggle worthy quote:
“Covens have any number of people, but the core of them is always thirteen. Which means we’re dealing with at least thirteen rogue witches. Yay.”
Alex lifted his head and laughed. “Yay!” My sarcasm was lost on him completely.

Gonna have to put this on the list!! It sounds fun and kick assy
felicia – it is! It just struck me right with a bit of kick ass, fun and hints of sexy. It is like a peek into a world and I wanted more. I still want to read on but have been busy with my job and current reading calendar but it is something I really want to settle in and just read the whole series right now.
Wonderful review. I really need to pick this series up. It has been on my TBR for sometime, fettered around the blogging world and well it sounds like something I would enjoy. I love the Kate Daniels series and boy oh boy I still have not started Jane Yellowrock either, sigh so many books so little time. ^_^
I just found it so easy and pleasurable to read. I can’t wait to read on in this series but I have things to read for May reviews. There are 9 books now in the series as of May 2015.
And yes, Jane Yellowrock is awesome! I’m up to date on that series and love it.
Wonderful. Ya I’ve got books I’ve signed up to read. I never thought when I started blogging I’d end up with an over abundance of books and well I’ve also started using my library more. Some days I just don’t know what to pick up and read, but I most decently will read this series and Jane. I’ve heard such great things about both and I really want to try them out.
I think I need to get to know Rylee as well, Anne! She sounds like the kind of character I love reading about, there seems to be quite a lot of place for development, even if she’s good at what she’s doing. And I definitely want to know more about Mr. Dark and Broody who doesn’t understand her sarcasm 😉
lexxie – Rylee is so different but so likeable and kick-ass. She has a lack of family like Jane and somewhat like Kate and Allie.
The blurb sounds super interesting! Just by that snippet there, I’d want to read this book and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
arianne – Even a month later I want to read on, I remember the story and characters. Most of all, I remember the pleasure of reading it. That can’t be said for all the books I read. I want more of them and to know more.
