Daisy Darker was one of my favorite audiobooks this year too!
Me too! But there were so many great books.
I now have a copy of Book Lovers to read! And I loved Totally Folked, although I read it, didn’t listen. But Chris Brinkley is one of my favorite narrators!
I hope you enjoy Book Lovers; it was witty. I’ve read almost all the Penny Reid in ebooks. I’m listening to Homecoming King now to prep for Drama King.
I love him in all the Winston Brothers type books.
So many wonderful audiobooks on your lists! I did enjoy While You Were Listening on audiobook.
My “regular” top 10 has mostly audiobooks too.
So many that Anne and Sophia loved that I hadn’t even heard of.
I loved Aurora’s End, too, from your list Robin, but oh yeah neat that we all had diverse lists. 🙂
Thanks Wendy! It can be fun to see what makes all the different lists.
Some real goodies here!!!!!! Just started Totally Folked!
I loved it but I read it in ebook.
So much fun in Audio. Enjoy!
It’s always so great to see the lists like that!
I enjoy seeing what everybody enjoyed so that’s why I do this meme.
I love seeing everyone’s lists, too. I get great recs from them. 🙂
I haven’t read any of these but I think we all read a lot of different books. it’s nice to have found a bunch of good books though.
yes and I’ve read and enjoyed some of those on others’ lists but we all have slightly different tastes. Although I think we are all huge Ilona Andrews fans.
Fun to see everyone’s different favs and see a variety of books, Mary. Once in a while, I step out of my zone and it works out well so many times when I snatch one I saw on someone’s list.
I see books on all 3 of your lists that I enjoyed quite a bit. I am not sure what would end up on my favorite list. Maybe The Bodyguard by Katherine Center.
It’s SO hard to choose and narrow it down.
Glad to give you some possibilities as well as share some of your favs, Carole!
Well I guess that goes on my TBR list then.
Anne, we really have similar tastes! I loved all these on audio too: Daisy Darker, Book Lovers, Killers of a Certain Age, The Bullet That Missed, Thank You for Listening, and The Friendship Pact.
Sophia, I enjoyed Crowbones, Ghost 19, and Polaris Rising as well.
It was definitely another great year of listening, Rachel. I plan to hit Daisy Darker soon. 🙂
yes I’d read all but one of your Mystery Thrillers. You are certainly one of my top compatible readers.
I loved Book Lovers, Thank You for Listening and Crowbones. I haven’t read or listened to any of the others but I think these would have been on a top ten of mine.
Fun to know some of these made your list, too, Lorna. 🙂
That’s one thing that is cool about doing the lists. I get to remember favorites and see others’ favorites.
Totally enjoyed Crowbones too.
Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn, narrated by Jane Oppenheimer, Christina Delaine ended up being such a surprise hit for me, too.
I read it, but look forward to a re-read listen at some point.
Well I wasn’t surprised. I have not ever read Deanna Raybourn before but I knew I’d love it.
Man of War was awesome. I have listened to any of the others.
It was awesome Nadene. I view the other lists as potentials or bump ups on my TBR.
Crowbones was such a fun addition to the World of the Others. I love that Alexandra Harris was back to narrate.
I love the Others but for some reason I almost always read the ebook instead of audio.
I’ve enjoyed all of The Others books. Each is a great story.
Great lists and very diverse! I also loved Daisy Darker.
I’m an equal opportunity genre reader. I did read a lot more mystery this year I think.
Great list, everyone. Book Lovers is also one of my favourites from this past year.
Thanks Role. It is hard to narrow it down.
