This is a new feature I developed where each month we will look at our favorite – the best – series in a genre or topic.

The topic here, by my definition,  is a series with main characters who are K9 handlers.  This is the third round of series in this theme as it is a favorite of mine and I am always trying to find more.   These are the ones which came to mind.  I enjoyed some more than others.

For those who want more K9 stories, here are the first two K9 Series on Saturday:

Round 1                              Round 2

Since I haven’t read everything, it’s a subset of the possibilities.  I’m sure I am forgetting some great authors. There are also plenty of authors I have yet to read. Please share your favorites with me in the comments, also.

My favorite K9 series are (in no particular order):

Reed & Billie                                             K-9 Alaska                                           National Forest K-9
by Dustin Stevens                                         by Elizabeth Heiter                                 by Kathleen Donnelly

Jessica Anderson K9 Mysteries             Coyote Run                                       K9 Heroes
by DL Keur                                                     by Marta Acosta                               by Rada Jones

What are your favorite series?

Vote for your top 3 favorites! You can vote for my favorites or add favorites of your own.  Remember this is how the winning option is chosen for the giveaway.

  1. I don’t know that I’ve ever read a series with a focus on dogs, unless you count The Iron Druid. LOL!! But since I don’t tend to read suspense or military, that’s probably why.
