Barnes & Noble She’s his dream girl. Except for the fact that she’s way too young for him. And way too sweet. And his best friend’s little sister.
He’s everything she’s ever wanted. Except for the fact that he’s convinced they’re totally wrong for each other. And the stubborn-as-hell thing. And the her-brother-will-kill-them part.
But then she discovers cotton candy flavored body powder, pink fur wedges, and nipples clamps, and everything changes.
Well, except the her-brother-will-kill-them part.
This series seems to have two names The Bradfords and Everyday Heroes. The stories revolve around the Bradford family, their community center, doctors, nurses and paramedics.
Just My Type is about Mac, a paramedic and Sara, the youngest Bradford. They’ve been attracted to each other for years but thought it couldn’t work for various reasons. Sara decides she is going to do what it takes to make it work. I found this plot to be the least realistic of the books so far.
Both characters are good people, who have some personal growth ahead and personal misconceptions to overcome. We have the same amazing circle of friends. However, the story is mostly away from Omaha and the hospital. The beginning is on vacation and the rest is in a small rural community where Mac lives. The friends and family were much less present and this kept them from common sense longer.
I’m all in for the next one, Just For Fun at the end of January. It looks to feature one of my favorite tropes, the fake relationship.
Narration:
Karen White continues to bring this series to life. The vocal performance didn’t stick out in any glaring way, which is a good thing. It allows me to enjoy the story. The different voices for each character, were well performed. I was able to listen comfortably at 1.5x speed which is new for me.

About Erin Nicholas
Erin Nicholas is the author of sexy contemporary romances. Her stories have been described as toe-curling, enchanting, steamy and fun. She loves to write about reluctant heroes, imperfect heroines and happily ever afters. She lives in the Midwest with her husband who only wants to read the sex scenes in her books, her kids who will never read the sex scenes in her books, and family and friends who say they’re shocked by the sex scenes in her books (yeah, right!).

I can't really remember any time when I wasn't reading. I LOVE books and what they give me. It's an opportunity to learn new things, see new places, live different emotions in a "safe" way. It lets me live in a new world.
I read all types of books but my favorites are urban fantasy and romantic suspense.I like some romance and some action / adventure / mystery in everything.I like sex in my books but please, only between TWO people.Intimate conversation is equally important to the sex in a book.It lets me see the characters. The other thing I enjoy is humor.

This series I working for you! I’m enjoying your reviews.
Thanks Jonetta! It is a really good series.
I thought about trying this series. Not sure what’s holding me back. Probably the fact that I have so many books to read already. LOL Thanks for your review.
That’s it! I want to read everything but I have so many things to read already. So when I hop around to blogs it’s SO hard.
This sounds like a decent listen even if the plot was a bit unrealistic. I do like the sound of the series overall. Great review!
It is a very fun series and I love them all. There are 2 more after this one.
I love stories where one of the characters feels like the romance is ‘forbidden’ and the best friend’s little sister is so good for that. Too bad the plot was a bit realistic – but it sounds like a good story all the same 🙂
It was fun! I just missed the rest of the group a bit as it allowed them to go on with “the lie” they were telling themselves longer than if they weren’t isolated. I highly recommend the whole series.
Uh, sorry to hear about the unrealistic plot but it’s great you are still excited for the next one!
The whole series is fantastic. I mean fiction, is fiction. I just hold my contemporary romance and mystery books to a little higher realism standards than fantasy, paranormal, and scifi.
