The Audiobook Challenge is hosted by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer for the 7th year of audiobook fun. 2019 was another great year of listening.
I met my goal of 72 with a total of 163 audiobooks for the year, unless I finish a few more in the next few days.

Whew! You blew that goal out of the water. Way to go, Anne!
Yes all my challenges I was way above the goal, even though I went back and increased the goal on some. It was a spectacular year for audio.
Wow! You are a listening machine, Anne! Congratulations on your outstanding results?
Thanks! Audio makes it easy to do other tasks at the same time. To think until you and Jennifer, I had never listened to audio until 2015. And at first it was all CDs in the car or on a boombox.
Dang you really rocked that goal. Great job!
Thank you! I thought I would listen to 1 a week and then some on long trips. It is more like 3 a week.
Wow that’s a lot of audiobooks you listened to. I made my goal of 12 audiobooks and finished with 15 books. I see a few audiobooks we have in common. I also listened the The Queen’s Gambit and The Queen’s Advantage by Jessie Mihalik this year, thanks to your recommendations for those :). I am now listening to Polaris Rising and plan to listen to the rest of that series as well. I also plan to listen to Spartan Heart, hopefully next year. I listened to Kill the Queen by that author this year.
Well I started slowly and worked audiobooks into my daily life and routine. I love Jessie Mihalik! I’m glad you are enjoying her too.
I ended the year with close to 100 audios this year. That’s a record for me. It’s made easier with Audible’s Escape package and KU’s Listen or read option. I’m still listening so there may be more. I’m impressed with your list!
Thank you Lorna! I also have had AE a few times on deals. I didn’t realize KU had audio but once I did I have listened to some of those. Some of the ones you have too.
Wow! That’s awesome! You got through about twice my total for the year. I only listen at 1x speed so I know I could get through more if I sped things up but just haven’t done it. I can’t wait to see how many you get to next year!
It seems I do more every year. I get more accustomed to fitting it into my daily life and routine. For Jan-May with my daughter’s school we will be driving an hour each way and I will have a 3-4 hour wait for her which I will listen to audio books and either run errands or knit.
Wow! That’s so impressive, and you reviewed them all on the blog?! I hope you have a wonderful 2020 full of amazing audiobooks.
Thanks, I can’t get enough of audiobooks! The list 143 are reviewed on the blog; there are another 20 or so on the Goodreads shelf which I only reviewed there. They are mostly library books or back list stuff.
Wow, Anne. That is amazing!
Audiobooks have pretty much filled in all the gaps in my life when I couldn’t be reading. They have helped me to be able to access a LOT more books over a year. And to think that 5 years ago I didn’t listen to audio and when I started it was with CDs from the library *smh*
